Observations and first impressions are all subconscious acts we undergo every day, but what happens when I give you the opportunity to express your honest first impressions of me, to me. I am asking you to be honest and write down your first impressions of me not only in a book, but also on my body. It may be that you dislike my hair, think I have a big nose or that you like my eye colour. Please use the Lipstick provided to write on my body and the pen and pad to note what you wrote. You can remain anonymous if you choose to. All I ask if that you be honest and don’t be scared to express yourself.

My name is Brett Fawkes, I am nineteen years of age and am currently studying a BA(hons) in media and performance. While this course allows me to further myself in mostly media aspects of performing, I have a devoted love to live art and performances that engage audience members. Stimulating new thought and ideas. I hope to continue working in ways which will I feel will develop both my understanding of the audience and spectator relationship and the ideology of censorship that has grown around certain areas in society.
