The Artist

Lorraine Jones, studied BA Honours in Performance Studies at the University of Northampton, going onto study PGCE in Further Education.  Now, a teacher of Theatre and Performance at Burnley College/ UCLAN.  Currently studying an MA by research in Mindfulness and Creativity.   A multi-disciplinary performance artist, past performance works include: Flamingoland – an autobiographical piece, exploring the female form, gender and power, past experience dictating future projections of the self. Also - ‘ Dance me to the end of love’, acting as creative facilitator, working with a company in devising work surrounding relationships, sexism, power and authority and impact on self-esteem.
